Digital Art - Watercolor Conversion Of A Digital Photograph
Description
This is a Watercolor Conversion of a digital photograph. The winter of 2010-2011 saw the deepest snowpack accumulation in two-plus decades - with a resultant spring melt that fed massive runoffs. In this scene, water which had only minutes before plunged over Ribbon Fall (the tallest single-drop waterfall in North America) rushes to join up with the Merced River. As Ribbon Creek is ephemeral; it doesn't flow all year - and rarely does it flow as fully as in this scene.
